We started our day with a FUNNY read aloud called Fall Mixed Up!
Students brainstormed what they KNOW about Fall and what they like TO DO in Fall!
As a table group...they brainstormed the different senses for Fall
As a culminating task, students picked their favourite FALL activity and illustrated it as inspiration for their descriptive writing πππ
When students were done their illustration, they wrote FIVE senses sentences
Something to consider...
As we worked on our community task for Social Studies, I became aware of MANY students who do not know the community they live in, and more specifially their own address!
I suggest doing a HOMEWORK check in to see if your child knows their address, and your phone number(s) for emergency purposes!
