Bison, Land Offering and Orange Shirt Day

We started the morning leanring about the Bison!

Students did a guided drawing of the Bison

They brainstormed all the character traits of a Bison

We watched the Seven Sacred Teachings video on the Bison.

In the afternoon, we went outside and participated in a Land Offering!

 

Every Child Matters

 

We started our day with learning more about Orange Shirt Day!

Students recognized how fortunate they are to be attending school at NLS and designed an Orange Shirt Day t-shirt to acknowldge Truth and Reconciliation!

In Gym, we played Mustasche Ball!

In Science, students are learning about Natural and Human-Made waste.

In their Science journal, students organized, drew, labeled and coloured their waste images

Students recieved their Doodle Books today!  They were sketching while we read The Wild Robot!

Students are invited to wear Orange on Thursday, September 28th
