Thank You

We had a busy and productive week!

In Gym, students played Monster Ball

Students continued working on their Story Vines!

They practiced telling their story with their classmates!

We took some time to reflect on our learning and set a NEW goal for April, May and June!

THANK YOU to all the families who took time come to school to
celebrate all the hard work and discuss the next steps in learning!

I shared with families that in April we will begin teaching Human Sexuality.
Please watch for a permission form to come home when we return from Spring Break!

If you are curious about the lessons that will be taught, you can view the curriculum on the teachingsexualhealth.ca website

Have a great Spring Break!

Oral Storytelling, Fractions and Parent Teacher Conferences...have you signed up??

We started the week with oral storytelling!

Students were learning about oral storytelling in the Blackfoot community
and about Elder Frank Turning Robe. Elder Frank will visit our class in May.

Students listened to The Giving Tree and summarized the story

After, they used their timeline to focus on a special event in their life to tell their story.

We finished the Wild Robot Protects!

WOW! We read the whole series! In September the MOVIE comes out!

Students started working on their
Story Vines.
They followed their plan and created
with felt!

Students finished their Story Vines! They braided their string to connect the story pieces!

They can't wait to show you at PTC on Thursday or Friday!

They finished their Sometime I Feel Like a Fox art
