Decision Making and Expected Behaviour

We continue to practice procedural writing...

Today, students had the chance to write about something that they can do well

Today we learned about decisions and deciding to make choice to support regulation when triggered

We are faced with MANY decisions in our day! Sometimes our impulse to react can be STOPped if we can think about the OPTions we have! Students learned that they can STOP, think of their options and move forward with a goal in mind to regulate and WHAT tool they can use.

WOW! Lots of brain power was used today with long division! Practice PAYS off, so keep practicing your basic facts up to 12x12 and try a few questions at home!

We had a VERY honest conversation about how all students DESERVE time with Mrs. Sloane!

Mrs. Sloane talked about expected behaviour with learning. If you are choosing to not listen when Mrs. Sloane is teaching, or if you are not willing to TRY after Mrs. Sloane repeated the instructions and set you up with your next steps...then you will have to wait until Mrs. Sloane connects with other studnets.
