A little recap from Mrs. Barnden

RECAP

Hi families! Mrs. Barnden here, I have so many great photos of some of the things we have been working on in these last few weeks that I wanted to share.

The students have been demonstrating some awesome resilience switching back and forth between Ms. Sloane and I. Please see the captions under certain photos to see what we were working on! It's been a blast with these almost grade 5s!

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR THE LAST FEW DAYS:
If you have not already, please bring a bag to take home work and supplies.

June 20th is National Indigenous Peoples Day

June 25th is Play day! Also our last spirit day for the year, with dress up as your favorite character!

June 26 is our last day!

Clinton taking the win (using my name) in our Blookit about Telling time! All students have been practicing using an analog clock to tell time as well as consider the duration of time between events. Ask them about their "Perfect day timeline".

Finn's epic maker creation - a variety of spaceships that can take off!

Students completing some creative watercolor art to go on the walls for our volunteer tea!

Elim enjoying the scooters as part of Mario Kart in Gym!

Working on our time telling using an online version of an analog clock!

Martha and Evaya taking it upon themselves to fix a wobbly desk! Way to go girls!

We had a great discussion about values. Students chose their top two values to write about how they are important to them. Jess had this great respond about Kindness and Equality.
