Happy 100th Day of School!
Granny Sloane had a great day with the class!
We worked together to brainstorm all the different activities that "older" people might like to engage in.
Our next Science unit is SPACE!
We read the book The Darkest Dark and watched a video that celebrated all of Canada's space accomplishments!
Students worked on their title page to show their personal understanding of SPACE
We had a 100th Day of School math challenge!
It started with how high can you count by 2's and 5's in 100 seconds!
We were estimating and counting...
We made pictures with 100 cubes...
We made different equations with 100 as the ANSWER
And we played with money up to $100
