We continue to practice writing paragraphs! Practice PAYS off!
Students are able to brainstorm with their peers and then create a PLAN in their journal to support them during the writing process! Students are creating strong topic sentences to start their paragraphs!
One next step in learning for many students is to pick a topic that they have background knowledge on. Some students pick a "fun" topic, but are not able to support their reason with strong evidence. We learned today that "because it is fun" is not enough of a reason to go on a field trip!
We continue to learn about gravity!
We completed the scientific process for an experiment we will do on Friday.
