WOW! We had a beautiful day at Nose Hill Park!
Students engaged in learning with the land.
They had time to reflect and explore!
A HUGE thank you to our volunteers for joining us at Nose Hill Park.
Happy Thursday and long weekend!
Last week in Literacy we finished up our informative writing and have now moved on to autobiographies. Students wrote about their background, families, interests and hobbies, and goals for the future. Then they created a self portrait. I loved learning a bit more about everyone, especially what they want to be when they grow up!
Happy Friday! Just a reminder that the school dance is on Thursday May 15, from 6-8pm. It is a Western Round Up theme and costumes are encouraged! The cost is $15 per family and all students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
In Math, students have started the geometry unit! We learned about angles, polygons and how to use protractors.
