WE can DO Hard Things

Our class has been so kind and encouraging as I prepare for my new role on Monday! Students wrote about HOW my job might be different than when I am teaching in the classroom!

Mrs. Dang is excited to join our classroom community and I KNOW that students will welcome her with kindness and will show her expected behaviour.

Pink Shirt Day

 

We read the story The Jelly Donut Difference and brainstormed different ways we can show random acts of kindness to staff and students at Northern Lights School.

We took our Kindness donuts to our Buddies and they gave us Thank You cards!

In Science, we learned new vocabulary for the universe, galaxies and the solar system.

We learned a NEW way to divide 3-digit by 1-digit and MANY students were so excited with the new strategy and liked it MORE than long division!
