NO School tomorrow!

We finished our Story Vines today and on Monday students will braid their "vine" to connect their story together. Students will practice telling their story and deepen their understanding of how oral storytelling is an important part of many different communities!

As students finish their story vines, they are beginning to re-tell their story!

We will continue to practice story telling and develop expression.

We have been working with patterns all year, but this week we are introducing new language.

 

Story Vines, Bison and Report Cards

Today was FELTING day!

Ask me about the process of crerating my first "sqaure" in my story!

We will continue tomorrow and Thursday!

We learned about Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump. We learned that the Blackfoot people were very intentional and thoughtful when bison were killed and they made use of every part of the bison.

Yesterday, Report Cards were "live" on Powerschool!
