We took our buddies outside to try an orange ribbon to acknowledge 

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

WOW...we had an intense game ingym today to practice our throwing skills!

Feathers and Orange Shirt Day

We started the monring with a thoughtful discussion on residential schools.

We listened to the story When We Were Alone.

Students reflected on HOW Nokom felt when she was at school and compared it to HOW they feel at Northern Lights School.

Yesterday, students designed an eagle feather and the WHOLE school created a wingspan of an eagle.

Tomorrow is Orange Shirt Day and our NLS Open House
